Regionals

Wow it has been almost a month since the last time that I posted. It has been pretty crazy here the last month. Well our volleyball team went to Regionals and we were very successful there. First we played Wyoming Indians and beat them in 3. Then we played Riverside and lost in 4. They were ranked number 1 in our conference. Then we went on to the Losers bracket and played Shoshoni who we had beat 2 times in the year. This game was very important because the winner would go in the state and the loser would be going home. Well we came out on top in that game and beat them in 3. It was such an awesome feeling knowing that we would be going to state. Rocky hadnt been to state volleyball in 5 or 6 years. After that game we played Thermop for 3rd and 4th place. We lost to Thermop both times we played them so we were pretty nervous. Its really hard to go in 4th place because that means you have to play the number 1 team on the other side. Well we had won 2 and lost 1 and we were in our 4th game, Thermop was 24 and we were 19. We had the ball and served it and they sent it back and got the point, but.... the ref called them out of rotation, they thought they had the game but not yet. So the score was 24 to 20 and some how we beat them. We beat the number 2 team in our conference for the first time at regionals. It felt good to finally get them! :)
